Known by its locals as the Jungle Gate, it is home to women whose entrepreneurial spirit faces a series of vicissitudes that not only stop their economic development; but rather, it puts them in a kind of survival in their fight to participate in the local market. Given this, the study seeks to understand the main problems faced by entrepreneurial women in Mazuko in the local economy and propose effective solutions that the State and financial entities could implement to encourage their active participation in the labor market. For this, on the basis of a case study, 15 semi-structured interviews are capitalized and coded on the problems, needs and challenges that these women face. The results show that to address the problems faced by Mazuqueña women, the municipality should promote training programs in business management, as well as create tax incentives and subsidies to support their work. Likewise, financial entities could offer soft loans and personalized financial advice, providing financial education through their actions that facilitates the growth of their businesses.
Criscee Nieves Gongora Nieto Copyright (c) 2025 https://revistas.unsa.edu.pe/index.php/disciplinares/article/view/335 Mon, 30 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Construction and psychometric properties of the Psychological Reactance Inventory (IRPS-25) in adolescents from the city of Trujillo, 2025 https://revistas.unsa.edu.pe/index.php/disciplinares/article/view/337
The general objective of the study was to determine the construction and psychometric properties of the Psychological Reactance Inventory (IRPS-25) in adolescents from the city of Trujillo, 2025. The research was observational, non-experimental, instrumental, cross-sectional, prospective and descriptive, focused on a single variable without establishing causal relationships. The population consisted of 1,144,134 adolescents between 12 and 17 years old from Trujillo, and the sample was 400 participants selected through non-probability convenience sampling. They were divided into two groups of 200 to perform exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, respectively. A structured survey was applied, guaranteeing the validity and reliability of the data collected. The results indicated that the IRPS-25 has adequate levels of content validity, internal and convergent structure, as well as high internal reliability. It is concluded that the instrument is valid and reliable for assessing psychological reactance in adolescents, in accordance with the theoretical postulates of Brehm (1966).
Angie Zílery Mayrí Carrasco Díaz Copyright (c) 2025 https://revistas.unsa.edu.pe/index.php/disciplinares/article/view/337 Mon, 30 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Occupational Exposure to Ionizing Radiation in Peru: Statistical Implications and Challenges in Occupational Health and Safety https://revistas.unsa.edu.pe/index.php/disciplinares/article/view/338
This research examines the occurrence of reports concerning occupational accidents, hazardous incidents, and work-related fatalities associated with exposure to ionizing radiation across various economic sectors in Peru. The analysis is based on data gathered from the Monthly Statistical Bulletins published by the Ministry of Labor and Employment Promotion, covering the period from 2010 to 2024. A total of 168 bulletins were reviewed with the aim of identifying the scale and progression of this type of occupational hazard over time. This is a quantitative study with a non-experimental design and a correlational level of analysis. It focuses on exploring the relationships between different categories of reports: total occupational accident notifications, accident notifications related to radiation exposure, overall work-related fatality notifications, fatality notifications specifically linked to contact with ionizing radiation, and hazardous incident reports. Through statistical analysis, risk trends were identified, and comparisons were made between radiation-related events and other types of workplace accidents. The findings offer deeper insight into the risk factors associated with radiation exposure in work environments and serve as a foundation for the development of preventive strategies. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of adopting international safety standards, such as NFPA 70E, ISO 45001, and OSHA guidelines, in order to enhance workplace safety for individuals exposed to such risks.
Roger Vilela Arias Copyright (c) 2025 https://revistas.unsa.edu.pe/index.php/disciplinares/article/view/338 Mon, 30 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Limited Mobility of Paraplegic Wheelchair Users in the City of Arequipa https://revistas.unsa.edu.pe/index.php/disciplinares/article/view/339
Introduction: Limited mobility in people with paraplegia who use wheelchairs is a significant social issue, especially in urban areas lacking adequate infrastructure. In Arequipa, Peru, this population faces multiple physical, social and technological barriers that restrict their autonomy.

Method: A narrative review with a qualitative approach was conducted, supported by exploratory interviews with people with paraplegia living in Arequipa. Academic, institutional and legal sources published between 2010 and 2025 were consulted.

Results: The main obstacles identified were architectural barriers, lack of social inclusion and low access to assistive technology. Only 10% of public transportation is adapted and 60% of sidewalks lack proper ramps.

Discussion: Despite existing legal frameworks, practical implementation is weak. Multisectoral policies and accessible technology are needed to guarantee full mobility.
Nicol Cabrera Copyright (c) 2025 https://revistas.unsa.edu.pe/index.php/disciplinares/article/view/339 Mon, 30 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Determinant Factors in the Demand for Postgraduate Studies in Tourism: A Case Study at the National University of San Agustín https://revistas.unsa.edu.pe/index.php/disciplinares/article/view/340
Postgraduate education in tourism plays a fundamental role, in strengthening competencies that enable tourism professionals to face challenges of sustainability (economic, social and environmental) in tourist destinations, making them more competitive. The objective of this study is to analyze the characteristics that contribute to increasing interest and demand for postgraduate tourism programs among undergraduate students from the Professional School of Tourism and Hospitality at the Universidad Nacional de San Agustin, where a survey was applied to 419 students from the 2023-B term, representing 72%,of those enrolled. The methodology consisted of a statistical analysis that assessed factors related to employability, graduate satisfaction, and link with the tourism industry elements that have a direct impact on the motivation to pursue postgraduate studies. The results show that students are interested in education with an international impact and prefer shorter programs. However, it is concluded that the intention to pursue a postgraduate degree at a national study center is low. although there is a percentage of students who value programs with an international focus, which could server as an incentive to pursue advanced studies.
Cecilia Victoria Segovia Mendoza Copyright (c) 2025 https://revistas.unsa.edu.pe/index.php/disciplinares/article/view/340 Mon, 30 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Cybersecurity Strategies in Incident Reduction in Remote Work Environments: A Systematic Review https://revistas.unsa.edu.pe/index.php/disciplinares/article/view/336
INTRODUCTION: The rise of remote work has increased organizational exposure to cybersecurity risks, highlighting the need for effective strategies to mitigate incidents. This study examines the impact of various cybersecurity measures on risk reduction in this context. METHOD: A systematic review of the literature was conducted using the PRISMA methodology. Nineteen relevant studies were selected and analyzed from reputable databases, focusing on multi-factor authentication, training, AI-based monitoring tools, and sectoral differences in security measures implementation. RESULTS: Findings reveal that multi-factor authentication reduces unauthorized access by up to 95% in highly tech-enabled sectors, while AI-based tools achieve early threat detection rates exceeding 90%. Continuous cybersecurity training reduces human errors by up to 50%, fostering a more secure organizational culture. However, resource-constrained sectors, such as education, face significant barriers to implementing these solutions. DISCUSSION: This analysis underscores the importance of combining advanced technologies with continuous training programs and inclusive policies to bridge sectoral gaps. Additionally, it highlights the need to develop accessible technologies and robust regulatory frameworks to ensure effective responses to future threats.
Oscar Gabriel Alcazar Gutierrez Copyright (c) 2025 https://revistas.unsa.edu.pe/index.php/disciplinares/article/view/336 Mon, 30 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0000
