About the Journal

Acta Médica de la UNSA is a scientific journal published by the Faculty of Medicine of the Universidad Nacional de San Agustín, Arequipa-Peru; in order to disseminate and stimulate health sciences investigations, as well as to share experiences and knowledge of local, national and international researchers.

This journal publish original works pertinent to the experimental, clinical, surgical and public health fields  carried out by physicians and students of pre and post graduate and medical residency, as well as other researches of international scientific institutions.
The works received are submitted to peer review, guaranteeing the scientific and ethical quality of the publications.
