Abstract

The first years of this century have been one of the most paradoxical historical moments that the world has lived in recent decades with a vast landscape of contradictory processes, unpredictable movements and unpredictable situations that broke in beyond forecasts and forecasts, even before of the COVID-19 pandemic. The last global financial debacle of 2008 has not only left the wounds of a deliberately idealized economic structure, but also and more deeply, the fissures of a model of reality based on ideologically forced and technically risky certainties. The financial collapse at the end of the first decade of the century (which swept away economic ideals, financial myths, governments, growth stories and fantasies) was nothing more than a symptom of a prevailing way of seeing and acting in the world. Perhaps one of the most scandalous symptoms due to its ethical and political dimension, but it was not the only one. The end of the certainties that we have witnessed in recent years is nothing more than the end of a prevailing and hegemonic worldview of ordering and intervening in reality. The idyllic painting of an orderly and predictable world has been transformed into a runaway dynamic of uncertain consequences that was exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
