Abstract

The objective of the study was to determine the factors that determine entrepreneurial
motivation in university women entrepreneurs. A non-experimental design approach and a Likert scale questionnaire with 18 questions were used. The sample was composed of 86 entrepreneurs and used a measurement tool based on income, intrinsic aspects, autonomy and economic security. The results showed high entrepreneurial motivation (83.72%), with 87.21% valuing income, 68.60% valuing intrinsic aspects such as personal satisfaction and 77.91% expressing a strong interest in autonomy and entrepreneurial control. Economic security was an important factor in entrepreneurial motivation (63.95%). The study recommends personalized support strategies and specific interventions to boost entrepreneurship in university women entrepreneurs.
