Complex Thinking in the Social Sciences: towards a new Business Organization

The new scientific paradigm, developed from the middle of the 20th century, is the paradigm of complexity. Initially, these were theoretical studies to explain apparently anomalous systemic behaviors. It emerged from mathematics and physics. But its epistemic and methodological principles have been applied to other areas such as the study of social systems and different forms of social organization. Among them, its application to economic theory and business organization and administration stands out. The present work aims to summarize the influence that the concepts, ideas and principles of complex thinking have had in a new way of conceiving, planning and managing the company to conclude with a series of orientations that economics theorists are still developing with the in order to orient itself in a context of global and volatile markets that generate uncertainty.
